How often do you stop and consider that the living God dwells within you? If so, how does this change the way you view your body? Discover a newfound perspective on your body today. To look at it in awe and wonder as a beautiful temple for the Lord to dwell within.
Welcome to episode two of our Three Part Being series. We’re so happy to have you join us as we spend the next eight weeks focusing on Spirit, Soul, and Body, the three parts that make up our entire being. If you missed the first episode, be sure to go back and have a listen.
Today we're meditating on our bodies. More than just flesh and blood, our bodies are a living temple, bought and paid for, a gift on loan while we enjoy life this side of eternity. How often do you stop and consider this fact? That the living God dwells within you. If so, how does this change the way you view your body? Does it inspire you to take better care of it, and in doing so how does that translate to the other parts of your being?
Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary. You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God! - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (TPT)
We pray that you discover a newfound perspective on your body today. To look at it in awe and wonder as a beautiful temple for the Lord to dwell within. Enjoy!
